More than 50 restaurants in Cambrils join the VII Days of the Galera and Seafood

Cambrils. Costa Dorada. The shrimp and seafood will fill the city of Cambrils from 11th to 27th February. The seventh edition of the Conference of the Galera and seafood with the participation of 55 restaurants in the village, which will offer a special menu for two weeks full of culinary activities. The main dish will arrive on Sunday 27 February, popular with the galeras to port, where you can taste the noodles according to the traditional recipe of galeras and rice according to the recipe of traditional fishermen Brotherhood of the Virgen del Carmen Sant Carles de la Rapita. On this occasion, the two guilds will share their recipes, since the days of two people agree on dates and go fishing in Cambrils on February 19th at Rapita. In addition, entertainment activities have been scheduled to stop by the royal theater group teak, apart from the Arjau and vogadors Estrop of Wind. Other news in this seventh edition are: - Taste of vermouth, with the collaboration of vermouth Miro (13 February) - Wine tasting and guided tour to the farm winery Clos Barenys. Transfers to Cambrils tourist train (19 and 26 February) - Introductory course tasting extra virgin olive oil (21 February). In other editions were aimed at a professional audience and in this edition is intended for a popular audience - The competition has reduced the number of participating chefs from ten to eight, with the aim of making shorter the duration of the competition. In addition, the basic basket of ingredients can be added six ingredients instead of the four ingredients allowed in other editions.
