New Catamaran Offers Premium Maritime Experiences in the Mediterranean

Salou, Cambrils. Costa Dorada. 24 July 2026. The Blue Diamond is a unique new catamaran on the Costa Daurada that has just been officially launched. Due to its size, sustainability—as it can navigate under sail power alone—and premium amenities, it stands out as the most modern vessel on the Costa Daurada, promising a high-end sailing experience on the Mediterranean Sea.

The catamaran features two decks, single and double Balinese sunbeds, a water slide, a shaded area, and trampoline nets at the bow for sunbathing right above the water. It offers 3-hour excursions, during which passengers can swim and snorkel in the open sea. Guests can also opt for a two-hour cruise to enjoy the sunset while sailing.

The Blue Diamond is the fourth vessel in the fleet of the family-owned company Creuers Costa Daurada. Based in the port of Cambrils, the company also operates a ferry on the Salou–Cambrils route, a speedboat, and another catamaran for alternative excursions, catering to regular tourists as well as private groups, corporate events, and school trips.
