The Coastal Path (Camí de Costa) is one of Salou's great natural attractions. This 9-kilometer coastal trail runs through the municipality's Mediterranean landscape among coves, beaches, and viewpoints, from Punta de Sant Pere, in the area of Passeig Miramar and Plaça Venus, to Racó de Salou, on the border with Cap Salou and La Pineda.
Salou officially launched the 2026 edition of the Nits Daurades on Saturday, 1 August 2026, with the institutional opening ceremony held in the gardens of Xalet Torremar.
Salou City Council has once again highlighted the need for Catalonia to promote a specific funding model for tourist municipalities. This was one of the main demands that Mayor Pere Granados conveyed this Thursday, 30 July 2026, to the Government Delegate of the Generalitat of Catalonia in Tarragona, Lucía López Cerdán.
