The athlete Chema Martinez will attend the second edition of the Gold Coast Marathon

Salou. Costa Dorada. This Sunday, November 13th, we celebrate the second edition of the Gold Coast Marathon (MCD). A career that will cover the waterfront of Cambrils and Salou, and culminating in the PortAventura theme park, where the goal will be located. This is a fast, flat circuit, which has two variants: first, in which the most demanding riders will be tested, makes 42,195 meters, and the second option, it is running in the tour of the MCD up to 10 km. This year, host the second edition of the MCD, include two great athletes: Chema Martinez and Alexandra Panayotou, who will share the circuit with all riders entered. The marathon will begin at 9 am on Sunday. The maximum time to complete the circuit is 5 hours and 15 minutes. The Gold Coast race is certified and has all the basic services necessary to successfully complete the test, such as: provisioning, timing chip, physiotherapy services and sports facilities, among others. The top three overall male and female, and in each category, will award. Apart from lifting the trophy, winners will receive financial compensation, for the winner, 1000 euros, second, 600 euros, and the third place, 400 euros. They will also receive a cash reward those riders who are able to enhance the brand of the circuit, which is currently 2 hours 20 minutes in the men, and 2 hours 45 minutes in the female category. Although it is important to participate and complete the circuit, all participants will receive an official medal of the 2011 Gold Coast Marathon, along with Nike and a 2x1 entry in the PortAventura theme park.
