New footbaths and improvements in the showers of the busiest beaches of Salou

Salou. Costa Dorada. 23 April 2017. Salou is preparing for the summer season and for the increase of the beach tourism taking advantage to improve the services of the busiest areas of the coast of Salou. Specifically, improvement works include the provision of showers for the beaches of Capellas, Llevant and Ponent and the installation of new footbaths in these areas.

In total, the cost assumed by the city council of Salou to carry out these improvement works amounts to 42,093 euros which will give a better service to bathers and people who go to the beach to relax.

As explained by beach councilor, Julia Gómez, "with these improvements we want to offer a better service to the bathers and pedestrians of the walk while improving the quality of our beaches, as they are one of the great tourist attractions of our city" .

To emphasize that, at the moment, the work of adaptation of the beach of Llevant, where three types of footbaths have been installed, have now been completed. Thus, independent washers have been installed, wash integrated in the totality of showers and others integrated in one of the showers.

In the same way, they have already begun the installation work on the beaches of Ponent and Capellans that will give a better service to the large number of people who take advantage of the holidays to visit these beaches of Salou.
