Mirades de Tarragona (Looks Tarragona) rewards the four best photos of Santa Tecla 2012



Tarragona. Costa Dorada. The sixth contest 'Views of Tarragona', launched by Tarragona 2012 - Capital of Catalan Culture, the Tourism Department and InstagramersTGN focuses on the festivities of Santa Tecla and on this occasion, received 985 pictures. On October 2, the jury issued the verdict and awarded between three thousand photographs that were submitted. The winning images were as follows:   First prize: Want arrribar very far, want to touch the sky / Volen arrribar molt amunt, volen tocar el cel, by Carles Llop (receiving the Instagram, @labolainfinita)   Second prize: Visca Santa Tecla!, de Paula Arbeloa (receiving the Instagram, @paulaarbeloa)   Third prize - Ex aequo: Correfoc de Santa Tecla, by Miguel Tost (Received by Twitter, @Meteotarraco) Third prize - Dance Shepherds by Andrea Fontbona (receiving the Instagram, @aandrea17) Because Santa Tecla has been at the center of activity in Tarragona 2012, intended as a special edition with attractive prizes. First prize wins an iPad, to continue with Instagram shots. The second prize s'enduu entarda a double for a day Contest Castellers, a meal for two at a restaurant in Tarragona and a copy of the book Santa Tecla, five visions. The third place also get two tickets for castles and a copy of the book. The Santa Tecla edition The proposed theme for the sixth edition has been on Santa Tecla, so that from 15 to 28 September, we have been able to present pictures of the festivities: Popular elements of courtship and their bearing and acts ritual sequence, but also those activities less crowded, the reactions of the audience, transforming the city these days, unusual viewpoints ... Looks Tarragona offers a different theme in each issue related to the world of our culture and heritage and the winners receive various prizes. The first round of competition was focused on Easter Tarragona and received 65 images, the second focused on St. George and received 90, the third revolved around Tarraco Viva and received 95, the fourth focused on San Juan and received 44. The fifth edition received 125 images that respond to the theme 'Tourists: glances glances'.
