Altersuer presents a proposal of entertainment for young and healthy alternative in Reus




Reus. Costa Dorada. Reus City Council launched a program of alternative leisure activities during the month of July aimed at young people with the aim of promoting a healthy leisure. The initiative has been dubbed as Altersuer, playing with the concept of an alternative Reus, and developed with support from the Ministry of Social Policy and Santoro. From 3 to 23 July activities are scheduled almost daily, such as courses and workshops, theater, sports activities, a sample of urban culture, or a night of concerts, among others. With this program we want to make clear that free time and leisure may be an area for training, personal growth and fun alternative activities, healthy and positive, without alcohol or other substances. One of the objectives of the program is to give young people about the dangers of drug use in different areas: sexuality, abuse of alcohol and driving mix of substances ... well as other information of interest: cultural and youth associations, useful phone numbers, websites to find information .... The initiative also has a social aspect, facilitating the incorporation of people in difficult situations or at risk of exclusion. Among the highlights activitas provided a night of mystery, from 23:00 am on July 9. Tests and riddles that must be resolved in the middle of the night Reus. On July 17, at 18:00 pm in the skatepark, will show the Urban Culture, and BMX bike display, and skate, rollers, parkour, graffiti and break dance. Then the Park Festival, and from 21:00 pm with a concert offered KRL Krew, Host Clan, Metro 90, KO technique, Via Feat Dead People and Suicide Crew. Other activities planned Sports: The sport is a healthy alternative to preventive and leisure risk. Theatre: "Do not Line", prepared by the NGO Teatreacció with the support of the Department of Drug Addiction, Department of Health of the Generalitat of Catalonia and focuses on prevention of risk behaviors associated with drug use (traffic accidents, unsafe sex ...) Workshop healthy drinks: you will be working three drinks and the nutritive value of the beverages produced in the workshop. Sex and drugs: in this workshop exposed the myths about sexuality and drug use. Film Workshop: The aim of the workshop will create a short message with a reference to the prevention of risky behaviors. The result of the work is later used as material for future educational activities. Television Workshop: to gather the experience of Altersuer in a program to be broadcast later on Canal Reus TV. Workshop on Creation and maintenance of skateboard: skater made the association of free creative workshops, assembly and use of the skate itself. Collaboration of youth organizations The program has been designed with the involvement of various municipal departments, involving the departments of Public Health, Youth, Culture, Public Roads and Transport Reus with municipal brigade, police, and the Department of Sport and Recreation . The program also seeks the participation and involvement of youth organizations and young people themselves in defining and implementing the program of activities, and in this sense that some activities are performed together with them. Involves the following entities: Suicide People SKLG Sound Players Association and players Role of Reus-Anime and Manga Association of Culture and Youth Association Nippon AMAKUNI IRASSHAI Reus Young Bikers, rollers, skaters and Parkour Reus, H2O Arsu Party and Red Cross.
