An excellent festive mood this morning, King James I and Queen Violante of Hungary, accompanied by the royal entourage, with the clergy at the head, opened the thirteenth medieval market which fills the old craft stalls Salou to Sunday. This time the company has been Cane Syrup who staged the opening enlivened with folk instruments and has had very public. This edition has eighty stalls of artisans specializing in the sale of foodstuffs, typical of many parts of Spain: sausages, craft beer, preserves, cheeses, spices, candies, nuts, liqueurs, honey venda a kebab, a pancake and other food stalls. The market, which has been opened today, September 6, will be open until Sunday Salou 9 (11 to 14h and 18 to 22h), extending the hours on Sunday afternoon. The Mayor of Salou, Pere Granados, the Councillor for Economic, Trade, and Consumer Markets, Reyes Pino, together with the Councillor for Culture and Festivals, Maria Jose Rodriguez, and other officials attended the opening ceremony . Councillor Development, stressed "the importance of this dynamic element that combines the crafts market and other events that make Salou, and the old especially with a space to boost trade." The budget for the mediaeval market fell again, given the current economic scenario, compared to previous years, and has done everything possible in order to optimize resources.
