4th edition of the festival Mercaricat and the 12th anniversary of the Leisure Center in Gavarres

Les Gavarres. Costa Dorada. Central Market and the Centre for Leisure Gavarres invite us to the 4th edition of the Festival of caricature: the Mercaricat. During the 10th and 11th june 2011 at Central Market, and we can enjoy Gavarres hard with the 10 cartoonists who this year suggests napi. as artistic director of the event. Everyone with a particular style and characteristic, chosen for quality criteria. We found the kids and fun style of veteran and transgressive Gambarte Carlos (Barcelona), the realism of Marcela and Eli (Barcelona), the almost expressionist Ermengol Matias (Lleida), the stylized portrait of Christine Hoffman (Tarragona), naturalists Diego Kamal Sultan Campos (Tarragona), the latter winning the best cartoonist last year, Edurne or ironic, and of course, the IM Napier, who with his minimalist style refreshing take on a single line expression fun any face. 12th Anniversary Center for Leisure in Les Gavarres The caricaturists move Gavarres Saturday afternoon, where part of the giant party addressed particularly to smaller families. Besides the 10 cartoonists, the children can find plenty of activities. From 11am operate several attractions such as inflatables, a bumper cars and a carousel for children. At 12 h Ocine Gavarres offer a free morning film, with children most talked releases of the season as Rio, Hop, Arthur and the Invisibles 3 and many more. In the afternoon, from 16 h, the Company deployed Passabarret three attractions: a circuit racing minibicicletes. A set of trampolines and a large marquee will be held on the 1st edition of Circus Workshops Gavarres. To access all the attractions we have to collect a free ticket to any local Leisure Centre. An exhibition of Humour and a contest Parallel to Mercaricat will be an exhibition with the theme of Humour delay the work market at the same venue. During the coming weeks, viewers will vote all the cartoons made by cartoonists of every Mercaricat. The drawing of the joke most votes will get a ham, and another will be drawn among all participants. Many of the caricatures of cartoonists also engaged in Humour, the same as with Napier, and in future editions is to combine both fields, caricature and graphic humor.
