Hospitalet de l'Infant. Costa Dorada. Hospitalet de l'Infant will live a long weekend gastronomic and cultural. And that is because on Friday 9 July at 6.30pm, opens the Second Intercultural Fair in Plaza Berenguer de Entenza. In the framework of this fair, it will install stops with fifteen craft products, jewelry and food from around the world offering folk performances until Sunday. For example, the public can see dances from Colombia, Romania, Cuba and Argentina. The fair will conclude on Sunday 11 July with the Mosaic Gourmet VII. In this edition, a total of 36 non-professional cooks of the people (especially women) will explain the delicacies of their countries and regions of origin. For example, Argentine empanadas, pizzas Chinese, the 'vareniki' of Ukraine, "Pelmeni" Russian'adaalu the 'Nigerian' rice chordafan 'of Ecuador, the' mocrot 'of Morocco, the Brazilian Caipirinha, the chorizo in cider from Asturias salmorejo Andalusia, the fried milk and lemonade La Mancha of Spain, the Catalan custard coffee, etc.. In particular it will serve some 2,000 tastings from more than fifteen countries at a symbolic price of 1 euro each, according to the Councillor for Fiestas, Francisco Blanch, emphasizing that this year nine chefs who participate in past and prepare tasting some 500 more. At 9pm, in addition, there are expected performance of the company 'Son Brazil' to present 'zambas' and Brazilian capoeira. These activities, organized by the Party Commission of l'Hospitalet de l'Infant City Council and sponsored by Vandellòs Hospitalet de l'Infant, aims at enhancing mutual understanding, integration and cohesion between different cultures living in the municipality, according to Francisco Blanch reminded the alderman.
