Over 600 participants have already signed on I Triatló Cambrils

Sport and healthy practices are in vogue. So much so, that take place every weekend in the Gold Coast several competitions, most of which are open to everyone. Some of the traditional tests are vying for years but there are others that are held for the first time. As is the case Cambrils Triathlon, which will premiere on Sunday June 9.

In the first edition of this test is 625 athletes have already registered, a figure that the organizers have a very positive, considering it is the first triathlon of Cambrils and the average participation in competitions of this kind is between 200 and 400 athletes. In addition, registrations or remain open until thuesday to reach 900 numbers.

The organizers of the triathlon Cambrils advise participants come equipped with a neoprene team to make the race with good swimming conditions in the open sea, as it is expected that the water temperature will not increase in the coming days.

The test will be the modalities olympic and sprint. The Olympics will be swimming 1,500 meters from the front of the Fisherman's Park, 40 kilometers from the old bike N340 heading to Miami and 10 km race walk west along the seafront (two laps). The departure time will be at 7:50 pm in Paralympic athletes, the federal 8am and 8:02 for non-federal. As for the sprint mode, distances are half (one lap) and the output will be at 10:30 and 10:32 for the federal non-federated.

Bibs must be collected Saturday from 16 to 20h and Sundays from 6:15 to 7:30. On Sunday from 6:15 to 7:45 pm also must check in at the pit of bicycles, located in Fisherman's Park. All participants will receive a T-shirt as a gift Sural, a pack of nutrition and photo of the arrival at the finish.
