Cambrils celebrates Spain's Sailing Championships this June

Cambrils. Costa Dorada. 13th June 2012. The Spanish Championship Sailing Kids will be held at Cambrils Yacht Club from 19 to 25 June. An event that involves the participation of about 200 sailors from all over the country and the total inflow of 700 people in the city and, therefore, a significant economic impact for Cambrils.    The event was attended Merce Dalmau, mayor of Cambrils, Lluis Abella, sports councilor of the City of Cambrils, Joaquím Oliva, president of the Yacht Club Cambrils, Fabián Escudé, manager of the Yacht Club Cambrils, Tete Sabaté, director Sport Yacht Club.   After the great results in the end of this season, Marcelo Cairo and Leandre Garcia from Yacht Club Cambrils, are two of the sailors that make up the Catalan and have options up alpòdium. The Catalan Sailing Kids has a total of 20 sailors, 5 of which belong to the Yacht Club Play. Importantly, although the participants represent a selection specific tests are performed except for a single day. On June 23 there will be a competition for teams onparticiparan 5 representatives from each of the regional selections. The coaches of each autonomous community are responsible for choosing their best sailors. The Spanish Championship Sailing Kids is an event organized by the Yacht Club Cambrils and the Real Federación Española de Vela, in collaboration with the Catalan and Spanish associations of sailing the Optimist class, bic-laser4.7 and Techno293.
