The 49 Rally Catalonia-Costa Daurada has a total of 64 cars inscribed

The 49 RallyRACC Catalonia-Costa Dorada, Rally of Spain 2013 (penultimate race for the Championship of the World FIA of Rallys), consolidates fully in the world concert once confirmed that  64 cars will take part, a figure above  the average of the WRC 2013. Of the list of 64 units highlight the 13 vehicles of the maximum category, WRC, with all the constructors inscribed in the world-wide headed by the leader of 2013, the French Sébastien Ogier, who will  do his first race as a Champion in the Costa Dorada in case is proclaimed so in France.

Altogether there will be 7 Ford Fiesta RS WRC (Østberg, Novikov, To the-Attiyah, Neuville, Prokop, Paddon and Al-Kuwari), 3 Citroën DS3 WRC (Hirvonen, Sordo and Al-Qassimi) and 3 Volkswagen Polo R WRC (Latvala, Ogier and Mikkelsen). In addition to the leader Ogier highlights on the list Dani Sordo, that with his Citroën will want definitely struggle for a new triumph after the one achieved in Germany. At any rate, in addition to the absolute victory, another important fight will be to achieve the subc´hampionship world-wide, to which opt Neuville, Latvala and Hirvonen.

A category that will be very encouraged is WRC2, formed by 14 vehicles, between which,even when the current leader, from Qatar Abdulaziz Al-Kuwari (Ford), will not be driving as a the previous edition a vehicle in the maximum category WRC,  a pilot of Formula 1 winner of a GP will take part, the Pole Robert Kubiça (Citroën), a fact that turns it into the main favourite of the category. WRC3 has three participants, one of them is the exchampion of Spain and of the IRC, Enrique García-Ojeda, whowill pilot a Citroën DS3 R3T.

Also it is necessary to highlight the relation of inscribed people in the FIA Junior WRC, 9 Ford Fiesta R2 that will resolve the final race of this part reserved to pilots sub27, amongwhich the Swedish Pontus Tidemand, leader, will meet the two present Spanish, the asturian José Antonio Suárez and from Lanzarote Yeray Lemmas.

At personal level, six world-wide champions will take part in inferior categories: Sébastien Ogier, Dani Sordo and Martin Prokop (Júnior), Nasser Al-Attiyah, Hayden Paddon and Benito Guerra (PWRC).

More internationality
The internationality of the RallyRACC follows increasingly year after year. Of the 30 countries represented in the 2012 this year has increased in 5. The 128 pilots and copilots officially inscribed represent a total of 35 countries: 35 they are Spanish, 10 Italians, 7 British, 6 Finns and Norwegian, 5 Argentinians, Portuguese and French, and 4 Irish and estonian, to mention the countries with more representation. As ever, other very far countries of the peninsula are those that shout the attention of the fan, like New Zealand, Indonesia, Mexico, Peru, Ecuador, Venezuela and a complete representation of Middle East, like Qatar, Arab Emirates, Jordan, Lebanon and Saudi Arabia.

Good Spanish representation
In this 49th edition, the Spanish participants have attended in greater number , a total of 17 complete teams and another copilot that will operate with a pilot of out of our country. Dani Sordo-Carlos del Barrio (Citroën DS3 WRC) will be obviously the tàndem head, to which will accompany the other two usual teams in the FIA Junior WRC: José Antonio Suárez-Cándido Carrera and Yeray Lemmas-Rogelio Peñate. Also there will be one of the  international copilots with whom counts our country, Borja Rozada, that will accompany the Mexican Benito Guerra, with who won the 2012 the category PWRC.

This year also takes part the exchampion of Spain and of the IRC, Enrique García-Ojeda, who with Borja Odriozola will be on the WRC3 with a Citroën DS3 R3T with which already was inscribed in France. Out of scoring there will be several teams between which highlight Josep Maria Membrado-Oriol Julian and Carles Llinàs-Kiko Torras (both with Mitsubishi).
