Salou. Costa Dorada. 27 November 2013. Salou will receive the XV edition of the
Spanish Open, since the
6th until the 8th of December, in the Municipal Sports Hall. This is an international sportive dance competition, where 700 national and international couples will take part. In Catalonia, the level of participation is important in the adult and junior category.
The sportive dance have some figures and specific norms for the different categories. In the “Standar” category, you can find the Quickstep, Foxtrot, Tango, English Waltz and Viennese Waltz; In the “Latin” category, you can find the Samba, cha-cha-cha, Rumba, pasodoble and Jive.
If you want go to the
Spanish Open, you can buy the general entries to 10 euros for day, to 5€ for retirees and free acces for children until 12 years.
Friday
6th of December, you can enjoy with the national competition and with the Open Show Dance, a competition for sportive dance teams and for another dances (Hip Hop, Country, Jazz, Dance Show, …).
Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th of December, it will take place the Standard and latin competitions for Senior (adults), Youth (juveniles) and Junior (childrens).
