Music Festival Cambrils, 12 great performances from July 26 to August 10

Cambrils. Costa Dorada. 20 April 2014. The International Music Festival Cambrils, which this year celebrated its 40th anniversary this summer will offer 12 shows high level between 26 July and 10 August.

Festival of reference

The International Music Festival Cambrils has turned the last three years with the goal of putting this event as the reference summer festival in southern Catalonia. In this sense, the sign chosen this year is very wide, varied and with some unique performances in Catalonia, which will Marta Sanchez and Gloria Gaynor on 8 August, or in Spain, such as the performance of the ex Rolling Stones, Bill Wyman.

Three spaces

The festival will be presented in three sections. Nine of the twelve planned events are scheduled in the Park Pinaret, two shall be in the Crypt Chapel and finally Vilafotuny Castle will host a unique performance.

In Pinaret Park, the epicenter of the festival, a scenario of orbital structure completely covered in aluminum will be installed. The park can accommodate up to 5.000 Pinaret viewers into two zones: an audience with capacity for 3.500 people and a grandstand for 1.500 spectators. The total capacity of the space will be adapted in each case, depending on the format of each concert.

Moreover, one of the novelties of this edition will be installing gastrobar area within the grounds of the Park Pinaret which will open two hours before each concert and would remain open after completion of the proceedings.
The gastrobar offer , among others, a special cocktail created for the festival, the Festival Gin Cambrils.

Day by day

Poster 2014 International Music Festival Cambrils the start of Love of Lesbian with his latest album ' The eternal night - not vivid Days'. The group will follow the revelation last season, Auryn, for the younger audience.
The festival also features other records as José Mercé Flamenco, Pop or David Bisbal, with his new tour 'You and I, released on June 14 in Almeria.

The star in the international section of the exRolling Stones, Bill Wyman with his band Bill Wyman's Rhythm Kings, they will do in Cambrils the only action this summer in Spain. Another exclusive is the performance offered American singer Gloria Gaynor, and the queen of Spanish pop Marta Sanchez with his show ' Divas ', a journey through the disco classics of recent times.

In the field of classical music, the International Music Festival Cambrils submitted to the soprano Montserrat Caballe with her daughter Montserrat Marti and the Choir of San Sebastian, after more than 10 years without acting in Catalonia, will offer a symphonic concert.

Concert will be Stemetana String Quartet and the young violinist of eight, Jennifer Monaco Panebianco in Crypt Chapel, while Castle Vilafortuna host the concert Pau Piqué finalist for ' The Voice', which acting for the first time in your city in an intimate concert that Frank Sinatra versions of other artists and always hear, in what will be the start of the tour for his latest album.

The festival will close with a performance by Raphael and his tour 'Love & Loveless'

The International Music Festival is organized by Cambrils company Publiolimpia collaboration with the City Council and the Tourist Board of Cambrils.
