The merchants of Salou visit Platja d'Aro to exchange experiences

Merchants from Salou have participated in a "retail tour" that has led them to visit colleagues from the town of Platja d'Aro, in order to learn success strategies and share experiences. The exit has been organized by the Department of Economic Promotion and Promotion, Commerce, Markets and Consumption, through the Center of Entrepreneurship and Knowledge of Salou, and the Association of Traders of Salou, and the Chamber of Commerce of Tarragona. Once the retail has been finalized by different establishments of the municipality, a food workshop has been organized with representatives of the Gerundense Council and representatives of ADEM and merchants of Playa de Aro. In total, a score of merchants from the municipality have participated in the initiative, which is already the second one to be carried out.

Councilor of the area, Martina Fourrier, explained that "it is a very beneficial initiative for traders since they can meet new business models and business management management experiences, while exchanging impressions with traders from other places in the territory ". Fourrier, added that "it is already the second retail tour we organized, the first was in Barcelona with very good acceptance and that is why we have decided to organize this one."
