The artist Manuel Alcalá exposes his "material" to the Torre Vella

Salou. Costa Dorada. 29 April 2018. The artist Manuel Alcalà Sánchez, native of Granada and resident of Els Pallaresos, exposes his paintings to the Torre Vella de Salou until May 26th. The show has the title "Everything is matter" and is inspired by the world of industry, a sector well known to the author. Alcalá reflects on his paintings geometric figures that take center stage to reinforce the conceptual nature of his creations.

Since 1975, Manuel Alcalá has combined his artistic life with work in the world of industry, which has served to weave a plastic language and an artistic discourse of fusion that combines nature and industrial technology, developing pseudopeces of installations and machines that are conductors of life.

The author emphasizes the sensations offered by his work, which go beyond the messages that he can convey. For this reason, the geometric figure takes center stage and reinforces the conceptual nature of its creations.
