Rice for every taste

The Rice Gastronomic Days are part of the Salou Food Experience 2026 Gastronomic Agenda, which offers various experiences throughout the year to enjoy the best cuisine on the Costa Daurada.
During the presentation, the President of the Association of Hospitality Entrepreneurs of Salou (AEH), Pep Moreno, highlighted that "Salou's gastronomic diversity is one of its greatest attractions, and rice is an ingredient capable of connecting very different proposals, from international cuisine to the most traditional." Moreno also emphasized that these days "are a highly anticipated event for the sector because they represent an opportunity to showcase talent, innovation, and gastronomic identity."

For his part, the Councilor for Economic Dynamization of Salou City Council, Hèctor Maiquez, emphasized the importance of the event within the local calendar: "These days contribute to reinforcing Salou as a leading gastronomic destination, combining cuisine, local products, and culture." Maiquez added that "investing in initiatives like this is key to boosting the local economy and giving visibility to our business community."

Representing Nomen Foods, Marketing Director Fortu Simón remarked on the link with the territory: "Our rice is part of the gastronomic identity of the area, and it is a source of pride to see how hospitality professionals transform it into high-level culinary proposals." Simón also expressed the desire to "continue collaborating with the sector to promote a product of quality and proximity."
