Day: Monday, March 22nd, 2010 • 19 pm Venue: Centro Cultural and Occupational Cambrils Talk: Cuisine, culture and mestizaje In charge of Pius Alibek, philologist, writer and restaurateur Iraqi Biography of the speaker Pius Alibek Hermez (Ainkawa, Iraqi Kurdistan, 1955) is a philologist and restoring Iraqi Assyrian ethnicity. He arrived in Barcelona in 1981. She speaks fluent Aramaic, English, Arabic, Kurdish, Catalan and Spanish. Since 1997 Mesopotamia runs the popular restaurant specializes in cuisine from Iraq in the street by Verdi.
