On November 27 will take place Publicity09, Second Conference on Tourism

Cambrils. Costa Dorada. Advertising and Promotion Minister Huguet will open on November 27th 2009, Publicity09, Second Conference on Publicity and Tourism, organized by the Tourist Board of Cambrils. This edition of the publicity, is intended to reflect on the creative process in promoting tourist destinations under the theme selection and positioning attributes. I n this context, Publicity09 with the participation of well known names within the world of Tourism and Publicity. Marçal Moline, strategic planner and creative advertising. Founder of the agency MMLB; Paco Medina General Technical presidency Island of Ibiza, Juan Betancort, Head of Promotion and Economic Development Lanzarote; Manu Narvaez, Managing Director of Tourism of San Sebastian; Josep M ª Bruges, Head of Press and professor of the Faculty of Communication Blanquerna (Ramon Llull University), David Coral Morral, director of Counterpoint, and Carlos de la Guardia, founder Brandgineering. As a novelty, the organization has brought students to the industry by offering a creative contest in which participants have demonstrated their knowledge in tourism promotion. The award ceremony will take place in the context of the day and consists of an annual subscription to journals and Emprendedores DeViajes, for third place, two Nintendo Wii, courtesy of MarketingLand operation by second place; and two passes to The Sun Festival, courtesy of this event and spend one weekend in San Sebastian, the winner of the competition. The workshop is addressed to all professionals and students in the field of Tourism and Communication and has a registration fee of € 70 (professionals) and € 30 (students).
