Salou. Costa Dorada. 3rd July 2012. The Catalan Tourism Workshop held on 26 June with a number of travel agents and tour operators from the UK, France, Germany and Russia to promote the Family Holiday Destinations. The tourist boards of Salou and Cambrils also participated in this conference as a certified destinations on the Costa Dorada. The objective of this session is to present all offers aimed at families traveling with children and develop aspects of the destinations that most visitors search for this profile. The action took place in a hotel in Santa Susanna and the work session began with a presentation of the targets by the Marketing Director of the Catalan Agency for Tourism, Mr. Jordi Secall. After the presentation, the operators presented some proposals on the needs of families traveling with children, ie, what are some points to improve within our specialized destinations. Later operators were distributed to countries in 5 working groups and representatives of Salou and Cambrils, among other places certified by the Costa Brava and Costa Maresme, had the opportunity to present the offer of accommodation, catering , leisure and tourism resources major and important destinations.
