Reus is preparing for the feast of Misericòrdia 2009

Reus. Costa Dorada. The day is coming for the Festival of Reus and there is still much to do. From today, 21 September, will remain hoisted the flag Mariana in the Belfry of the Priory and in the afternoon, at 6pm, the Canyon Cercavila holiday will travel around the streets of the Old Town.   In addition, the afternoon will be full of events: at 6pm, in the Plaza de Evarist Fàbregas, with a children's entertainment Rah-mon Rome show called "Sopitas", including instrumental rhythms, own traditional songs, and from all the world and good vibes. And at 10.00 pm, in Plaza del Mercadal, the company from Reus La Chispa Diabolic presents the fireworks "Malae Tenebrae Regina (Queen's dismal darkness)" in which an evil queen attempts to capture souls in the audience, creating fire and light with her devils.   At 10pm at the Suau, for those who have not yet engaged in the environment of the festival, there will be the first semifinal of Enganxa't a la music 2009, a music contest of the Catalan Countries, emerged from Reus which wants to strengthen all of those formations from the country who sing mainly in Catalan.   On tuesday, 22th September is also Fiesta in Reus with Cercavila Canyon at 6pm and musical percussion Cercavila with the group Reus Black Horn of the Association Musicocultural New friends at 8 pm. They both will go arounf the streets of the Old Town. At 6pm kids can enjoy at the Children's Room of the Central Library at a children's show with Guillamino in concert with "De 0 a 100", where all participants become actors in the creation of a musical tune. And what better way to end the day than with more music, this time from the hand of the music contest Enganxa´t a la música 2009, at 10pm in the Suau.
