Cambrils Agricultural Museum opened in 1921. Located in the heart of the vila of Cambrils. Represents a clear commitment of the Agricultural Cooperative and 'Caixa Agrària' Cambrils to combine culture and economic development. Formerly a major winery, designed by modernist architect, Bernardí Martorell was a Catalan architect, nephew of the architect Joan Martorell also. Graduated in 1902, was influenced by Antoni Gaudi and Lluis Domenech i Montaner. He works as the Teresian College of Tarragona, Valldonzella Convent in Barcelona, among many others. The museum shows Cambrils Agricultural progress and evolution of the rural world of Cambrils. On the esplanade in front of the museum and the Agrarian Caixa can admire the work dedicated to the peasants, by the sculpture Cambrils, Dolors Ortuño.
