Vandellòs Hospitalet de l'Infant will cycle and walk for cleaner air

Vandellòs. Costa Dorada. Vandellòs Hospitalet de l'Infant has joined the initiative coordinated by the Department of Planning and Sustainability known as 'pedal 2011'. As part of this action, which is part of the Week Mobility, the City is organized by the municipality on Sunday 25 September 2011, at 11 am, in L'Hospitalet, a bicycle to be popular as a starting point the Town Hall. In order also to bring out the positive effects of walking and using bicycles as a mode of transport as opposed to the excessive use of car and motorcycle, the council has organized a popular bicycle other core Vandellòs ( by Saturday 1 October at 10 am and the football field as a starting point) and a popular walk in Hospitalet (on Sunday 2 October at 10 pm, which will be held Out of the Square 'Sol Solet'). The bicycle ride and aim to show that a change in mobility is possible and necessary to improve air quality in the town and their own health. Please note that, in Catalonia, transport is responsible for much of the emissions of pollutants into the atmosphere, not just CO2 responsible for climate change, Sint other products such as nitrogen oxides and particulates, that besides being harmful to the environment, are toxic to people.
