El turisme espanyol (38%), seguit del britànic (18%) i del rus (15%) són els mercats més actius a Salou, seguits de França (15%) i d'Holanda, Bèlgica, Irlanda i Alemanya.
Salou és segona destinació turística de Catalunya, per darrere de Barcelona i una de les més importants d'Espanya.
