Municipalities of the Costa Dorada join together to promote tourism

Cambrils. Salou. Roig Mont. Vandellós. L'Hospitalet. Costa Dorada. The mayors of Cambrils, Robert Benaiges; Salou, Pere Granados, Mont-Roig del Camp, Franc  Morancho, and Vandellós Hospitalet de l'Infant, Josep Castellnou, and the president of the Nautical, Manel Basquens signed a collaboration agreement to promote nautical tourism. With the aim of consolidating water products, the Nautical develop actions as open days in each of the four municipalities support the revitalization of the nautical rules, shares trade at source and destination using the product catalog, brochures and website, attending trade shows, familiarization trips, and selling products in the establishment of the organization members; strengthening of water sports, implementation supporter membership card at the provincial level (Nautical Club) and training sessions for partners to maintain the quality level of identification with the brand. In addition, the agreement establishes the functions performed nautical bases of the four municipalities. Nautical Association Costa Dorada , which includes 56 tour companies, aims to provide the services needed for tourism promotion and marketing services of its members, as well as work in promoting the destination of water in towns part. It is financed by contributions from the four councils, the Tourism Council of Tarragona Province, associated companies and sponsors. Mayor of Cambrils Robert Benaiges, stressed the importance of the creation of marinas to give added value to the tourist destination. Benaiges said to be focusing on quality to attract tourists and make their preferences has been optimistic about the future because the current economic situation with the tourism sector has been confirmed as a solid element.
