This Saturday and Sunday
concerts cycle begin Comaigua.Música in the Baix Camp. The first concert will be on Saturday, July 19 at 19.30 h in the Laureles Division of the Ca Tower Vandellòs Hospitalet de l'Infant, and the second on Sunday, July 20 at 19.30 Teatro del Casal and Vinyols i els Arcs.

Concerts continue next week, according to the following schedule:
  • Wednesday, July 23 at 21.30 in the Chapel of Santa. Anna in Castellvel del Camp
  • Thursday, July 24 at 21.30 hrs on Paseo del Mirador de Les Borges del Camp
  • Friday, July 25 at 20.30 h in the Park Ferrater Abel de la Selva del Camp
All concerts are free and the program includes pieces of classical music of Mozart, Dvorak, Bach, Shostakovich, complemented with tangos or movie soundtracks.

Founded in 2010, Liverpool String Quartet is made up of musicians of the highest professional level, taught in the academies of music most popular in Europe, and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, the Conservatory of Music of Valencia, the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester and the Royal Academy of Music in London, among others. All are members, or collaborate regularly, the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, the Hallé Orchestra in Manchester, the BBC Philharmonic, Royal Northern Sinfonia, among other British orchestras, and with other orchestras in Europe.

In concert the group will have as guest concertmaster with Raul Marian Garcia, who is assistant concertmaster of the Symphony Orchestra of Barcelona, ​​and thus also fulfills the commitment to promote the foremost interpreters of the Catalan music scene.

In concert Castellvell Borges del Camp and Field, the English quartet will also feature the participation of Eilith Gillespie, flute soloist assistant to the BBC National Orchestra of Wales. Cardiff resident develops his work as a performer in London and the North of England with orchestras including the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and the Royal Northern Sinfonia in Newcastle. Also devotes her work to chamber music.

The series is organized by the regional joint venture Comaigua and the Regional Council of Baix Camp, and has the support of local councils and the association Produced Aurea Ars Sonora. A first inaugural concert Comaigua headquarters in Cambrils on July 18.
