Easter in Reus. The feet of Christ in the Billboard for the Easter Week 2010 in Reus

Reus. Costa Dorada. The Association for Easter week in Reus has presented the lineup of the Holy Week 2010, which this time shows a photograph of bloody feet of Santo Cristo de la Sangre de Reus. The Holy week of Reus, with over 450 years of history, is one of the most deeply rooted traditions in the city and, despite attracting numerous visitors preserves the sense of more traditional instruments. To promote this year's Semana Santa 2010 were published 150 posters, 250 displays and over 13,000 leaflets in different languages with the programming of the biggest events. Part of the promotional material distributed at hotels in Salou, Cambrils and La Pineda Beach to publicize Reus Easter with tourists who spend Easter in these towns along the Costa Dorada. La Semana Santa de Reus, which is organized by the Association of Associations for Easter, considered for promotion with support from Reus City Hall through the Municipal Board of Tourism and Commerce. Calanda drums, arrows, silence and the Three Graces Some of the biggest events of Holy Week Reus (you can see the entire schedule here) are the procession of Bitterness, an act that has the participation of Calanda Drums (March 30) or the Procession of Arrest. The procession stops to reach the traditionally Mercadal square which offers a song of arrows. This year, the first time after more than 450 years of history, the procession of Arrest (March 31) will be adding a step of another municipality that has been invited by the city of Reus. This is the Christ of Lepanto in Valls. The procession will also be accompanied by the Armed Castellvell and Cambrils. Easter in Reus also has the Procession of Silence (Thursday 1 April, Holy Thursday), with the Three Graces, an act that only takes place in Reus (April 2, Good Friday at three in the afternoon) and with the great procession of the Holy Burial (Good Friday).
