They find in Mallorca the lifeless body of the sailboat crew that left from Salou

Salou. Costa Dorada. 05 April 2018. The Civil Guard has found the corpse of Cesar Cedermaz, the crew member of a sailboat that sailed from Salou last Friday with the intention of reaching Ibiza. The body of the man, of 37 years and Argentine nationality, was in Cala Sant Vicenç, in the term of Pollença, in Mallorca. In that area was found last Monday the remains of his boat. According to the Diario de Mallorca, the victim has been found by a group of friends who were tracking the area where the remains were found.

Apparently, it could be his inexperience in navigation, the recent purchase of the sailboat, added to the bad state of the sea that could have caused it to capsize. The deceased had recently obtained the qualification to be able to navigate. To these elements was added a fault in the engine. However, he had already reached the outskirts of Mallorca when he capsized, as he had the chance to call by phone to let him know that he was seeing the Mallorcan coast.
