The Municipal Padrón reveals that Salou already has 26,877 inhabitants

Salou. Costa Dorada. 07 April 2018. The municipality of Salou has 26,877 people registered at the beginning of 2018. The figure represents an increase of 452 inhabitants over the previous year, which represents an increase of approximately 1.75%. The statistics show that 13,921 registered are men, whereas 12,956 are women, a figure close to 50% of the total.

This demographic variation has been due to various causes. On the one hand, there have been a series of residents' residences in the municipality - a total of 2,988 highs; 1,576 men and 1,412 women, of whom are due to births, changes of residence from another municipality, changes of residence from abroad and omissions.

On the other hand, there have been a series of casualties -2.536 in total; 1,401 men and 1,135 women -, which are due to deaths, changes of residence to another municipality, changes of residence abroad, undue and expired inscriptions.

In addition, it should be noted that there have also been a total of 926 changes of domicile within the municipality and 878 confirmations / renewals.
