The Mayors Council of Baix Camp approves the establishment of a county funeral services

The Mayors Council of Baix Camp , which met on Wednesday, October 30 in Alforja reported favorably on the establishment of a county funeral service to be conducted through the municipal public company of Reus , Gesfursa , according to an agreement initially by the Council of Baix Camp and the city of Reus. After approval of the municipal heads , the Council shall at the next plenary session create the service and its regulations , as well as the agreement with the municipalities that will delegate the management of the County Council service . The next step will be for the Council and the city of Reus to sign the agreement to operate through Gesfursa the municipalities in the county that have delegated the management on the Council.

The aim of this agreement is that all citizens of the region enjoy a public funeral service , which will be at the same prices and the same quality as those received by citizens of Reus. It also intends to optimize resources to make them more efficient services .

To offer this service , Gesfursa changed its current trademark , which is Reus funeral , to funeral of Reus and Baix Camp .
