The City Council supports the eradication of Homophobia, Bifobia, and Transfobia

Salou. Costa Dorada. 18 May 2018. In the International Day Against Homophobia, Bifobia and Transphobia, the city council of Salou has organized a series of activities to support the demands for the rights of these groups. Thus, a training and information workshop has been carried out for the students of the adult training center Ágora, to guarantee the rights of lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transgender and intersexuals to eradicate Homophobia, Bifóbia, and Transfobia. The activity has been very dynamic since group activities have been considered that have made the participants think about gender, gender and diversity as well as the complexity of addressing these issues and what are the tools to guarantee the rights of Lesbians, Gais, Bisexuals, Trangèners and Intersexuals, to eradicate homophobia, bifóbia and transphobia.

Subsequently, the reading of a manifesto by the mayor, Pere Granados, was carried out; the Councilor for Welfare and Social Services, Estela Baeza; and the spokespersons of the municipal groups that wanted to join this international day.

Councilor of the area, Estela Baeza, wanted to emphasize the support of the City of Salou towards these groups. He added that "from the council we have always given and support these initiatives and this time we have wanted that the students of the training center for adult persons NOW, be well informed and watch over compliance with the law 11/2014."
