Bathers can now enjoy the floating play platforms on the two great beaches of Salou

Salou. Costa Dorada. 09 July 2018. The floating platforms are an attraction because of the fun possibilities offered to bathers. In Salou, two of these play areas have already been installed, anchored to the bottom, and located a few meters from the shore. They have been located in marked areas on the urban beaches of Levante and Poniente and their use is free.

These platforms consist of a set of modular and interconnected devices, anchored in the sea in the bathing area and used by customers for their entertainment. These platforms will be removed on September 30, once the high bath season ends. The operation of the platforms maintains the same rescue and lifeguard service hours, currently from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., since there is also surveillance on the same platforms.

The Councilor for Beaches, Julia Gómez, explained that "we understand that it is one more attraction that is provided to bathers who come to know the coastline of Salou and who want all kinds of comforts and activities to distract themselves during their vacations". In addition, he added that "our will is every time adding more offer because we end up making your stay in Salou unforgettable".

Soon a play park for inflatable games will be installed on Levante beach to complement the leisure offer at sea.
