Salou and Cambrils promote family holidays in UK

Salou. Cambrils. Costa Dorada. The tourist boards of Salou and Cambrils have participated, at the hands of the Catalan Tourism and Tourism Promotion Centre of Catalonia in London, the journey to work took place in three English cities: London 28 February , March 1 to March 2 in Birmingham and Liverpool. The purpose of this trip has been contact with the main tour operators and travel agents to give them English to know the tourist product of the two cities on the Costa Dorada, particularly family tourism, thereby motivating the market English, which, due to the economic situation in general, the European economy, has been suffered last year. Like Salou and Cambrils, have moved to the UK some certified in Family Holiday destinations such as Lloret de Mar, Blanes strations marine Estartit and Medes Islands in Costa Brava, and Santa Susana and Calella de la Costa Barcelona-Maresme. The format of this action was the same in the three cities. As participants were arriving, the boards of various tourism destinations certified in Family had a time to provide information on specialized offer. Then, the director of the Center for Promotion of Tourism of Catalonia in the UK, Mr. Miguel Angel Cusi, gave a presentation of Catalonia as a tourist destination in general and the specific product family. Suffice to say that January is the month for excellence advance bookings for the summer in England, according to information provided by major tour operators, the results are optimistic when compared with data from the same month in 2010. Salou and Cambrils sun and beach destinations are quite popular in the UK, have visited and like the area, but since the Tourist Board must continue working to bring more quality to the destination, promote it and make efforts to reach that day, made both the public and the private sector in this regard.
