Vandellòs and Hospitalet host the 5th Sports and Cultural Meeting Mediterranean Pyrenees

Vandellòs. Costa Dorada. Over 400 children will meet from 12 to 16 June Vandellòs Hospitalet to participate in the 5th Meeting Sports and Cultural Mediterranean Pyrenees. This provides the Sports Council of Lower Camp, responsible for organizing this event has the support of the Sports Union of Teaching First Grade French (USEPA) and the Sports Union of Councils of Catalonia, and the collaboration of the City of Vandellòs Hospitalet de l'Infant.

The teachers of these children, mostly from Catalonia, France (Languedoc-Roussillon and Midi Pyrénées) and Italy (from Provence, the Riviera and the Aosta Valley) (Italy), but also of Aquitaine (France) and Thringen (Germany) visited this past weekend the sports facilities where the activities take place, accompanied by the president and secretary general of the Sports Council of Lower Camp, Ernest and John Aymamí Bartolí respectively ; the Councillor for Sports, Pilar Morales and the municipal manager of the company which manages sports (Llastres Municipal Services SL), Montse Nomen, and were staying at the residence of Aster Sports Complex.

This hostel in L'Hospitalet, and various accommodation establishments in the municipality will also lived precisely where the participants of this meeting to be held for the second time in Catalonia (the first was in El Vendrell).

During his stay of 4 days, the children carried out various activities of sports and cooperative games. Thus, for example, know the town through observation and guessing games while wandering the streets and the waterfront; make circus workshops (juggling, stilts, balancing, diabolo), take part in different athletic adapted, practiced korfball, etc..
